FAQ
Do you log traffic?
No traffic logs. Your WireGuard private key is generated in your browser and never sent to us;
the backend only tracks subscriptions and the public keys needed to operate the tunnel.
Is this a real commercial service?
Yes — LeanVPN is live and operating. Pick a plan on the Buy page and pay
with Monero to get a token immediately, no manual steps or contact required.
What platforms are supported?
Any platform with a WireGuard client. See the Connect page.
Do I need an email address or any personal info to sign up?
No. There's no account in the usual sense — your token is your account. We never ask
for an email, and what we store is a one-way hash of your token, not the token itself.
What happens if I lose my token?
It can't be recovered. Because we never collect an email or any identifying info, there's no
way for us to verify it's really you and reissue one — that's the same tradeoff that keeps
sign-up anonymous. Save your token somewhere safe.
How many devices can I connect at once?
Depends on your plan: Weekly allows 1 device, Monthly allows 2, Yearly allows 4. Manage and
revoke individual devices any time from the account page.
What happens when my plan expires?
Your devices stop working immediately — there's no grace period. Add time before it runs out
to avoid any interruption.
How do I pay?
Monero (XMR) only, chosen specifically so paying for the service never creates a card or bank
trail back to you. Pick a plan on the Buy page, send the amount shown to the
one-time address generated for your order, and your token appears automatically once the
payment reaches 3 confirmations on-chain — usually a few minutes. Sending more than the listed
amount is fine; the extra is simply kept. A payment that arrives after the price-lock window
shown on the order page has passed is still detected and honored — no need to start over.
Can I get a refund?
No. Payments are anonymous by design, so there's no way for us to verify a refund request
without identifying information — which would defeat the point. Treat a purchase as final
before sending payment.
Where are your servers located?
See the Servers page — it always reflects what's actually online right
now, rather than a list that could go stale here.
