The WireGuard config you generate on the account page is a standard config file — it works the same way on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Here's how to use it.

1. Install WireGuard

Get the official app for your device from wireguard.com/install.

2. Get your config

Open the account page, paste your token, and add a device. You'll get a QR code and a .conf file. Your private key is generated in your browser and never sent to us.

3. Import it

Phone: in the WireGuard app, tap + → Scan from QR code, and point your camera at the QR code on the account page.
Desktop: in the WireGuard app, choose Import tunnel(s) from file and select the downloaded .conf file.

4. Turn it on

Activate the tunnel in the app. Use the connection check on the account page to confirm your traffic is routing through LeanVPN.
